Welcome to Gennaro's Ristorante Italiano.

We invite you to experience authentic Italian cuisine at its finest. Now Hiring

Start with our Antipasto or our mussels with white wine sauce or marinara sauce just to whet your appetite.

Accent these delicious flavors with a glass of wine from our extensive selection.

For a main course, you must try one of our signature dishes like Chicken Marsala, Veal Cacciatore with fresh mushrooms and savory sauce, Shrimp Fra' Diavolo or Veal Piccata with lemon, butter capers and white wine sauce.

The meal would not be complete without a glass of Chianti, "Chianti Classico" from Banfi-Italy to finish with several desserts like Chocolate Fudge Pecan, Cheese Cakes to classic Tiramisu and Cannoli.

It's a dining experience to remember and relive often.

Hope to see you soon. Gennaro's

St. Pete Gennaro's Pizzeria and Italian Cuisine

For almost two decades now, natives and tourists alike have been coming to Gennaro's Pizzeria and Italian Cuisine.

When you first walk into Gennaro's, you’re greeted with the dessert case!  They're all homemade, including the cheesecakes, the cannolis and my favorite, carrot cake.  The cannoli shell is traditional dough, but ricotta cheese, sugar and special ingredients, (known only to Peter), are gently spooned into tube.

Gennaro's offers so many excellent choices: a counter with few tables where you can grab a quick sandwich or pizza; or, in the dining area, a cozy, quiet, candle-lit room with soft music serenading, with a bottle of Mark West Pinot Noir or Pellegrino waiting to be opened and sipped.

Sample the antipasto or Shrimp Fra Diavolo, for starters.  Glance over the wine list as you taste the Calamari or sautéed spinach and choose an entree.

After the first glass of wine and a couple of sumptuous shrimp, try the Seafood Soup. The chef places mussels, clams, calamari and shrimp in a delectable homemade seafood broth with herbs, spices and capolini.  A bowl of his northern Italian specialty is to die for!

And, note, the fresh Veal or Chicken Cacciatore.  It's simmered with onions, mushrooms and Gennaro's own marinara sauce that has delighted customers for many years.

Now, let's talk about the pizza!  Their specialty? Gourmet pizza, of course! Folks are lined up nightly for this treat.  I counted a dozen gourmet pizzas, plus white pizzas, on the menu.

If you are particular about topping, try the personal pizza.  Design it yourself and have a party. Of course, they have the traditional calzones and strombolis.   Did you know that not only their pizzas, but also Gennaro's subs have been voted best on beaches for years?

Gennaro's has tripled their seating in the last two years, but certainly call ahead if you have a party of eight or more.

Speaking of parties, have one at home and get Gennaro's delivery. They deliver pizzas and other gourmet foods to Pass-a Grille Hotels, motels and condos, too.

If you have a good recipe for a good pizza, Peter will make it and name it after you!

Excuse me, now.  I am calling 727-360-0563! I want to reserve my piece of Tiramisu. It is most popular and goes fast!
